Car Loses Control on Highway 6, Strikes Another Vehicle

Slick roads and high speeds caused a car to lose control on Highway 6 Friday morning.

According to DPS Troopers, a blue Mercury was heading north on Highway 6, in Robertson County. Robertson County EMS reported they observed the car reached speeds over 100 miles per hour.

The driver of the Mercury lost control and spun into on-coming traffic, striking a white Nissan.

Authorities report no major injuries.
