City of Bryan Offices Will Close for Martin Luther King, Jr., Day

BRYAN The City of Bryan announced Wednesday that city offices would close on Monday, Jan. 20, for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

The city said that BTU offices will be closed that day. In the event of an outage, customers should call 979-822-3777. Kiosks will be open for customers needing to pay their bill according to the following locations and times: Texan Market (Harvey Mitchell Pkwy & Villa Maria) - Open 24 hours; HEB (Texas Ave & Hwy 21) - 6 a.m. - 11 p.m.; and HEB (Texas Ave & Villa Maria) - 6 a.m. - Midnight.

The Bryan Municipal Court will be closed. All payments and documents due on Monday will only be accepted on Tuesday, January 21, 2014.

The city said that all Solid Waste and Brush and Bulk services will operate on normal schedule. The recycling center will be open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Facilities Services, Public Works, Public Works Call Center, Water Department, the Travis B. Bryan Municipal Golf Course, the Bryan Animal Center and the Bryan/College Station Library System will be closed on Monday, January 20th.
