BRYAN - A College Station teenager is recovering after he was bit by a dog Wednesday evening.

According to the College Station Police Department, a 13-year-old boy was outside playing basketball in the 1300 block of Airline Drive when the dog approached him. Authorities said he reached down to pet the dog when the dog bit him. The dog's owner allegedly helped the teenager clean and bandage his wound before the victim returned home.

Police said the dog was described as being grey and "wolf-like," possibly with blue eyes.

The College Station Animal Control is asking for help in finding the dog. Authorities said the dog needs to be found in order to rule out possible rabies exposure to the victim.
