COLLEGE STATION – A College Station man faces felony charges after police say he inappropriately touched a 13-year-old girl.
Police say Joshua Scott Franco, 23, started talking to the girl through text messages and social media sites. The conversations eventually turned to sexual topics.
According to police, Franco convinced her to meet him on June 9. He picked the girl up near her house and took her back to his place. It was there police say Franco touched her inappropriately.
Police were tipped off the next day. After investigating the report for just over a week, they arrested Franco Thursday at his home in the 1500 block of Medina Drive.
Franco is charged with Indecency with a Child (Sexual Contact), which is a second-degree felony.
Police say more charges are possible. Anyone with information is asked to contact the College Station Police Department at 979-764-3600.
