College Station School Board Approves Pay Raise for Employees

COLLEGE STATION- College Station public school teachers and school district employees are set to get a pay raise.

The College Station School Board Monday afternoon approved a 1.8% pay increase for all school district employees.

But due to a mandatory .3% increase in the employment contribution to the Teacher Retirement system, the effective increase is 1.5%.

College Station ISD spokesperson Chuck Glenewinkel says the health insurance package stays the same, with the pay raises going into effect on July 1st.
