College Station School Board Interviews Ealy for Supt. Position

COLLEGE STATION The search for a new superintendent for the College Station Independent School District is expected to settle on a lone finalist Tuesday night.

And that finalist could very well be Dr. Clark Ealy, who is the current Deputy Superintendent for Administrative Services for C.S.I.S.D.

The school board interviewed him Monday afternoon, and will vote Tuesday night on whether he will become the lone finalist in the district's internal search.

School Board President Valerie Jochen says, "We decided that we, that the best way forward was to look internally initially and see whether or not we could fill the position with someone who already worked at College Station I.S.D, because they would know the community, they would know the vision that the board had."

Current College Station I.S.D. Superintendent Dr. Eddie Coulson is retiring on June 27th.

During his time at the district Coulson has overseen a number of big projects, including the construction and opening of College Station High School.
