Construction of Blue Bell Park at Fever Pitch with Season Approaching

Construction crews at the Aggies' new baseball stadium are as busy as a bunch of bees.

The university is scheduled to open the team's new digs, Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park, in just 14 days. However, if you've been by you'll see work isn't quite done yet.

The $24 million renovation has been going on for a year now and with two weeks left on the construction calendar, controlled chaos in ensuing.

Officials from Texas A&M say the stadium will be ready to go for opening day, minus a few bells and whistles.

No specifics were given on what amenities will be missing but at least the stadium will be ready to feature America's pastime in time for the baseball season.

The Aggies will feature their new home quite a few times to start the baseball season. A&M will have 21 straight home games to start the season.
