BRAZOS COUNTY - A Criminal Appeals court Wednesday affirmed the capital murder conviction of a man who shot and killed his girlfriend and her brother.
John Thuesen was convicted of the murders in the victims' College Station home in 2009 and was sentenced to death.
Thuesen's lawyers had argued that a jury may have spared his life in exchange for a life sentence if they had known about what attorneys say was Thuesen's damage from post traumatic stress disorder from his military career.
