Two people are in jail after Hearne police say they found various weapons and some drugs in their car Friday afternoon. Hearne police stopped a Honda Pilot in the 100 block of South Market Street after receiving calls of a reckless driver.

The driver, 30-year-old Laban Graves and his wife, 32-year-old, Monica Graves allegedly had marijuana in plain sight and after police searched the vehicle, several shotguns, handguns, a rifle and a single grenade were found.

To help handle a potentially dangerous situation, Hearne police say they requested help from the College Station Police Department's bomb squad.

The Graves' have been charged with possession of marijuana, tampering with evidence, unlawfully carrying weapons and child endangerment.

The children will be place in the custody of their father, who has been notified of the incident.

Hearne police are continuing with their investigation.
