Couple Found Dead in Montgomery County RV Park

MONTGOMERY COUNTY - Two people are dead after a shooting at an RV park on Lake Conroe late Wednesday night.

Montgomery County Sheriff's Deputies were called out to the Thousand Trails RV Park around 11 o'clock Wednesday night. Someone called 9-1-1 saying that their father-in-law had shot his wife and was going to take his own life. According to officials, when deputies arrived they found Donald Jacobson, 69, and his wife Lucille, 65, dead.

Investigators say that Lucille had multiple gunshots to her upper body. Donald had a gunshot wound to the head. Investigators say the couple was married and retired. They traveled around in their RV to different parks. Sheriff's Deputies say the couple had been staying at that RV park for a few weeks.

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office Major Crimes Unit and Crime Scene Investigators are looking into what led up to the shooting.
