BRAZOS COUNTY - A two vehicle crash on Highway 21 between Bryan and Madisonville Friday afternoon trapped a driver for nearly an hour and shut down lanes of traffic.
Troopers say a pickup pulled onto the highway at FM 2776, near the Wixon Valley Country Store, but his view was blocked by a big rig trying to turn off the highway.
The pickup was broadsided by a Suburban. The driver of the truck had to be pulled from the wreckage - he was taken to St. Joseph Hospital in Bryan.
All involved were said to be in stable condition.Troopers said they expected no tickets would be issued as a result of the crash.
Traffic is back to normal as of late Friday evening.
