Davila Middle School Locked Down Briefly for Report of Gun-Toting Driver Nearby

BRYAN - A Bryan middle school was put on a brief lockdown Thursday afternoon after reports came in that a man had pointed a gun out his truck window.

District officials say it happened outside Davila Middle school just before 4-30 and that's after school was out. Extracurricular activities were in session.The school was put on lock-down for about half an hour but there were no other signs of that man - who was said to be driving a red truck. Things were back to normal by 5 p.m.
