DALLAS (AP) - Police say a dead fetus has been discovered in the bathroom of a Dallas hospital and that they're questioning a teenager believed to be the mother.
The fetus was found Tuesday morning in a bathroom near the emergency room at Baylor University Medical Center. Dallas child abuse detectives responded to the hospital and launched an investigation.
The mother is a juvenile and not being identified by police. It's not clear whether charges will be filed and no other information was immediately available.
Hospital officials referred questions to police.
