Traffic Accident in College Station Sends Drivers, Passenger to Hospital

COLLEGE STATION - Three people are recovering Saturday after an accident on University Drive near Tarrow Street in College Station.

College Station Police say just after noon, a Kia Optima and Nissan Rogue collided when the driver of the Optima was traveling eastbound, ran a red light at the intersection and flipped the Nissan Rogue as it was turning left onto University.

The driver of the Rogue had to be cut out of the vehicle by the College Station Fire Department. All three people involved in the accident were sent to the hospital with minor injuries.
