A TORNADO WATCH has been issued for Lee county until 4pm. A FLASH FLOOD WATCH is in effect for Milam, Robertson, Leon Counties until 9pm Monday, for Austin, Brazos, Burleson, Grimes, Houston, Madison, Montgomery,San Jacinto, Trinity, Walker, Waller, and Washington Counties until 10pm Monday, and for Lee county until 1am Tuesday. An additional widespread 1" to 3" rain accumulations are possible through Monday, with locally higher amounts possible.
Bryan Police are investigating a late night rollover accident on Highway 6.
The accident happened around 11:30 Monday night in the 2300 block of Highway 6 just south of the DPS Office in north Bryan.
Police say the 19-year-old driver lost control of his Chevrolet S10 pickup truck.
Talor Byington was transported to St. Joseph Hospital in Bryan with a laceration to his face but responders on scene say he was conscious.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation but police believe texting may have been involved. The driver was cited for failing to maintain a single lane.
Police say he was wearing a seat belt.
