COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- A drunk driver has been arrested after a six-vehicle wreck in College Station.
29 year old Christopher James Green of Bryan is charged with driving while intoxicated.
The accident happened around 9 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of University Drive and Texas Avenue.
Green was driving east on University, swerving outside the lanes of travel as he approached the red light at Texas, police said.
He struck the back of a 2006 Ford Escape and that created a chain reaction, sending the Escape into four cars also stopped at the light.
Two passengers in the Ford Escape were taken to St. Joseph Hospital in Bryan and were treated for their injuries.
Green was also transported to St. Joseph but later released and arrested by police.
No other injuries were reported.
The intersection was back to normal traffic flow just after 10:15 p.m.
