CSPD said a Dudley’s Draw employee was held at gunpoint by Magnum Boyce, 27 of College Station after kicking out Boyce early Saturday morning for fighting. Police said Boyce was originally kicked out around 1:00 a.m. and returned after the bar closed. Officers were called to 311 University drive around 2:15 a.m.
Boyce fled the scene in his vehicle before officers arrived. Police said bar employees provided a description of Boyce and his vehicle. Officers were able to locate him leaving the area west on Church St and attempted to stop him near the intersection of Church St and Boyett St. As Officers were attempting to detain the male, Boyce attempted to flee in his vehicle and turn south onto Boyett. However, police said heavy traffic in the area prevented the suspect from escaping. Officers were able to successfully remove Boyce from his vehicle and arrested him for the following:
Evading Arrest/Detention with a Vehicle
Criminal Mischief $1,500.00-$20,000.00
Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon
Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon on a Premises Licensed to Sell Alcoholic Beverages
Driving While Intoxicated 2nd
Disorderly Conduct: Display of a Firearm
