A massive wreck in Montgomery County killed an entire family early Saturday morning.
According to the Montgomery County Police Reporter, it happened on Highway 105 midway between Montgomery and Conroe around 8:00 a.m.
Police say Kevin Golden, 40, was traveling eastbound on Highway 105 in his pickup during heavy rainfall when his vehicle moved into the path of car carrying a family of four.
Jennifer Clouse, 27, her husband Nathan, their six-year-old son Jorden and eight-year-old daughter Bailey were all killed when the pickup slammed into their car, flipping it upside down.
Golden had to be cut out of his pickup and taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston.
Last word was that he was in critical condition.
Montgomery County Precinct 4 Justice of the Peace James Metts said in his time of service in Montgomery County this was the most fatalities he has seen in a single event.
D-P-S says the wreck was so severe, the engine from the pickup separated from vehicle and caused several minor accidents after the deadly one.
No one was seriously hurt during those wrecks, but one driver reportedly failed to stop and render aid.
D-P-S says heavy rains at the time likely played a part in causing the wreck.
