A fire in McLennan County near Waco has destroyed a family's home.
It began just before midnight Tuesday in the community of Moody.
An investigation into an exact cause is underway but the homeowner had lit a fire Monday night but put it out before going to bed.
The homeowner's daughter woke up sometime later as the house filled with smoke.
No one was injured in the fire.
