Five Sentenced in 2009 Gun Store Burglary

Five Brazos county residents have been sentenced to jail time for their role in a 2009 gun store burglary.

According to investigators with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, Ronald Gibbs, 46, Anray Atkins, 37, Sherman Darnell, 36, Arthur Garner, 36, and Montrace Pier, 23, have each been sentenced to at least 3 years in jail.

The sentences correspond with the burglary of Shooter's Station, a gun store located on SH 105 just west of Conroe. That burglary happened in the early morning hours of December 14, 2009.
According to police documents, 81 firearms were stolen from that location, of which investigators say they have recovered around 27 of them.
