U.S. Congressman Bill Flores (R-Texas) announced today that he has filled a position in his District Office in Bryan-College Station, Texas. Brazos County resident James Edge will serve as Field Representative for the southern region of the 17th Congressional District. Flores highlighted the leadership and extensive experience with the local community that Edge will bring to his position:

“I am excited for James Edge to join our team,” said Congressman Flores. “He is a very talented professional who has deep roots in Brazos County and has worked tremendously hard to uphold conservative values in the Central Texas community. I am confident that his expertise, professionalism and knowledge will help to ensure that our constituents in the southern parts of District 17 are well-served.”

For the past 11 years, Edge has worked as a full-time realtor and broker living in Bryan. He is a product of the Bryan school district, having graduated from Bryan High School in 1982. Edge’s community involvement includes service as President of the Bryan-College Station Allied Florist Association. He belongs to the Bryan College Station Board of Realtors and is a former member of the Houston Board of Realtors.
