BRYAN, TX -- A former Texas A&M Quarterback has been arrested for marijuana possession.

According to police records, Reggie Parrish McNeal was booked into the Brazos County Jail Sunday, December 23 for possession of less that two ounces of marijuana.

McNeal's bond was set at 2-thousand dollars and he has since bonded out.

"What happened last night is no reflection of who I am and my character," said McNeal in a phone conversation this afternoon.

"There were other passengers in the car and I have my lawyer on it. I plan on fighting it and getting things cleared up," continued McNeal.

"I'm back in school at Texas A&M and I got a semester left. I hope to pursue a career in coaching after I graduate," ended McNeal.
