A former Aggie football player is being charged with possession of marijuana.
Reggie McNeal was arrested just before 8:00 p.m. Monday, at a house on Allen Ridge in Bryan. According to the arrest report, officers were called to the house for possible narcotics activity.
When officers arrived, they found McNeal and four other men in the living room. According to the report, marijuana was found on the table and couches in the living room.
McNeal was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana. He has since bonded out of jail.
The other four men -- Matthew Byer, Kerry Miller, Samuel Contreras and Ricardo Medina -- were also arrested on drug charges.
McNeal is a Lufkin native who was part of the Aggies from 2002 to 2005. He has played some in the Canadian Football League since he finished at A&M.
McNeal was previously arrested in Brazos County in December 2012, also on marijuana charges.
