Former Texas A&M System Deputy Chancellor Improving After Motorcycle Accident

BRYAN - A former Texas A&M Deputy System Chancellor is showing signs of improvement after being critically injured in a motorcycle accident on Highway 6 near Navasota last month.

67-year-old Jay Kimbrough has been upgraded from critical to poor condition after cracking several vertebrae when he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into a median in Grimes County.

A family spokesman say Kimbrough is moving his arms and legs following surgery, but he is also being sedated at times as he recovers.
