SNOOK - It was all mud and games today in Snook, for a great cause.
Hundreds of people turned out for the fourth annual Hog Splash event that brought together 72 corporate and individual teams to support Hospice Brazos Valley.
Event organizers say they hope to reach out to the younger crowd to start the conversation hospice conversation early.
"We want to get the word out that end of life care is a very important thing to talk about early and not just when you're ill. We hope that people participating in something like this will at least have the understanding that hospice is very important," said Hospice Brazos Valley President Craig Borchardt.
