Funnel Cloud Caught on Camera over Bryan

BRYAN A little bit of rough weather is preceeding a cold front headed toward the Brazos Valley.

This is a picture taken by senior Texas A&M student Kathryn Westerman from A&M's Oceanography and Meteorology Building around 4:45 Thursday afternoon as a funnel dipped out of a wall cloud over northeast Bryan.

It didn't appear to touch down, and quickly disappeared.

News 3 Chief Meteorologist Shel Winkley says the cold front is expected to drop temperatures by as much as 30 degrees by Friday evening.
