Gelber Indicted On First-Degree Felony

Nancy Gelber was indicted on a first-degree felony charge of solicitation to commit capital murder.

This is punishable by up to 99 years in prison.

According to Brazos County Sheriff Office records, Gelber agreed to pay an undercover investigator 60-thousand dollars for the murder of her husband, Joseph Gelber Jr.

Investigators say she allegedly offered her wedding ring as a down payment and told the hit man to "kill him quick" because she didn't want him to suffer.
