Bryan Police officers are paying it forward to more than one hundred people this Christmas.
Presents were handed out to those in need Saturday morning, thanks to those who gave a gift for the Blue Angel Tree.
“It takes the partnerships of businesses and citizens of the community to come to us, grab an angel off the tree and help a child and bring these gifts in,” said Jon Agnew, who was one of the many Bryan Police officers who have been working for months to make this dream a reality.
"When we come in here and see a family walk in with their children and watch the mother with a tear in her eye as these kids receive these gifts, it is a really good feeling for us to give back to the community," Agnew smiled.
Agnew says this event wouldn't be made possible without the outpour of love from those across the Brazos Valley.
"We're happy when we look at the room at the end of the day and see all the presents are gone; we know we did our job," he said.
Bryan Police say 110 people received gifts Saturday morning, including 39 families and 19 elderly individuals.
