A Brazos County Grand Jury decided there's enough evidence for two accused gunmen in two separate apartment shootouts in Bryan, to go to trial.

The first happened in mid March at the Forest Park Apartments in Bryan.

Law enforcement conducted a manhunt for 17-year-old Sedrick Tyrone Darnell who they believe fired eight to ten shots outside the complex.

A 21-year-old man was hit in the leg, a second bullet grazed the head of a 14-year-old boy.

Darnell was arrested on a warrant ten days later. A Grand Jury indicted him on two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

A second indictment was handed down for another apartment shooting. This one happened nine days later outside the Saddlewood Apartments on Wellborn Road in Bryan.

27-year-old Douglas Foster is now formally charged with deadly conduct and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Police say Foster fired multiple rounds from his car. No one was injured, but police say two vehicles were damaged by bullets.
