BRYAN - The Hispaniola Medical Charity is about to send a team of surgeons and volunteers to the Dominican Republic to conduct ear, nose and throat procedures and dental work.
That may not seem like much, but for the underprivileged people benefiting from the procedures, it could mean the difference between life and death.
You can help them out tomorrow night at a special concert by Del Castillo hosted by the Grand Stafford Theater.
"It's an absolutely fun event, fantastic music, and you'll be helping out people who have absolutely no access to medical care," said Laura Hart with the Hispaniola Medical Charity.
Doors open at 6:30 with a social hour with food from Little Caesars and Grub Burger, followed by salsa dancing lessons.
Then at 8:30, you can put those lessons to use with the concert.
