Grass Fire in Walker County

WALKER COUNTY - A grass fire is currently burning off of State Highway 19 on Walnut Cove in Walker county.

The fire is estimated to be about an acre big. Two buildings have been destroyed in this fire.

The Walker County Community Emergency Response Teams, Walker County Office of Emergency Management, the Huntsville Fire Department, Thomas Lake Road VFD, Riverside VFD, Dodge VFD, and the New Waverly VFD are currently on the scene working on the fire.
