COLLEGE STATION- One College Station family is another step closer to living in a brand new home.
Habitat for Humanity raised the walls of the Sanchez family home this morning. The four bedroom house is the first of three houses that Habitat will build on the same street in the coming months.
Family members said they are incredibly blessed and grateful for their new home.
"My mom's happy," said Cesia Sanchez, whose family will soon live in the home. "I'm just overjoyed. I'm just thankful to God, thankful to the City of College Station for allowing this project to come about. It means a lot. Without them, we wouldn't be able to make my mom's dream a reality. It means a lot."
The Sanchez's house is being sponsored by the City of College Station.
