COLLEGE STATION- A College Station Medical Center nurse is recovering after being assaulted by a patient in the emergency room.
Around 11:30 p.m. Sunday, Robert Filloramo, a 22-year-old College Station resident, was taken to hospital after had a bad reaction when he ate wild mushrooms.
During his treatment in the emergency room, Filloramo punched one of the nurses in the face. He then tried to flee the emergency room, but was later apprehended by College Station Police Department Officers.
Filloramo was arrested and charged with assault on an Emergency Service Personal. This is third degree felony and he could face two to ten years behind bars and a fine up to $10,000.
The nurse was not seriously injured.
