Hotel Employee Robbed at Gunpoint

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call at 2:10 am Saturday, in reference to a complainant reporting he was robbed at gun point at a Best Western Hotel, in The Woodlands area. The Best Western is located in The Woodlands, in the 17000 Block of Interstate 45, just North of State Highway 242.

The complainant advised that while he was walking in the parking lot, proceeding towards his vehicle, he was approached by a male. The complainant advised the male pointed a handgun at him, demanding his money. The complainant reported he handed an undisclosed amount of money to the actor. The actor then fled the location on foot, to a near bye parking lot, and was witnessed leaving in a vehicle. The complainant advised he contacted 911, giving an accurate description of the suspect vehicle.

Montgomery County Dispatch Services were able to radio out attempt to locate information on the actor vehicle. A Conroe Police Department unit located the actor vehicle, in the City of Conroe. The subject that was located inside the actor vehicle was identified as the actor in the robbery.

Montgomery County Major Crimes Detectives responded to the scene. The suspect, Christopher Johnson, 26 was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery. The money stolen and hand gun utilized in the robbery were recovered.
