Houston Houston police say they suspect a hit & run driver killed a 22-year-old man who was crossing the street.
The Houston Chronicle reports the unidentified man was found at about 4:05 a.m. Saturday in southeast Houston.
Houston Police Department spokesman John Cannon says the man was apparently crossing the street when a car that didn't stop slammed into him. Cannon says even when a pedestrian is in the wrong, drivers are obligated to stop and provide help if they hit someone.
Cannon says police are looking for the driver.
