Three Houston residents have been arrested after sheriffs deputies say they stole a boat in Washington County.

Deputies say they saw an S-U-V towing a boat parked on the side of the road yesterday morning. Investigators say a deputy pulled over to help, because he thought they were having vehicle trouble. The deputy then realized the boat had been stolen from a property near Lake Somerville.

19-year-old Edward Aleman, 20-year-old Gabino Ibarra, and 21-year-old Zackary Downland were arrested and charged with felony theft and engaging in organized criminal activity.
