The identities of the three people from out of state injured in Wednesday afternoon's collision in Robertson County that temporarily shutdown the roadway have been released.
The crash between an 18-wheeler and R-V happened north of Hearne on Highway 79 off of Highway 6, going towards Franklin.
The injured include an elderly couple from Michigan who were traveling in the R-V. Erich Schwanke was airlifted from the scene. His wife, Mary, was taken by ambulance to St. Joseph Hospital in Bryan. The couple's dog died in the crash.
Kentucky resident, 34-year-old Arvad Wilkerson, the driver of the semi was also taken to St. Joseph Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Investigators say the crash happened when the R-V's driver attempted to make a U-turn.
