A Brazos County jury has found Travis Carroll, 20, guilty of murder.
The jury deliberated 1 hour and 35 minutes to reach the verdict. The punishment phase is set to begin Friday morning.
Carroll is on trial for the 2011 murder of Billy Joe Menard Junior.
Investigators say Carroll was with two other people at the Wild Oaks Apartment Complex in October of 2011 when Menard was shot and killed, reportedly after a conflict regarding a drug trade.
Police reports say Carroll was downstairs at the time of the shooting but he provided guns to the two other men.
In a past interview with News Three, his family claimed Carroll didn't know Menard was going to be killed.
His two co-defendants are serving prison sentences for the crime.
