The following are press releases from the Cities of College Station and Bryan regarding the Labor Day holiday:
Most City of College Station offices and facilities will be closed Monday for Labor Day. Sanitation collections will operate on the normal schedule but there will be no recycling pick-up.
Closed facilities include Larry J. Ringer Library, Lincoln Recreation Center and Southwood Community Center.
Cindy Hallaran Pool will be open from 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. on Monday, and from noon-6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Adamson Lagoon and Thomas Pool will be closed.
To report an electrical outage, College Station Utilities customers should call 855.528.4278 and have their CSU account number ready. Payments due to the municipal court must be paid by 5 p.m. on Tuesday.
The City of Bryan municipal offices will be closed on Monday, September 1, 2014, for Labor Day. The following offices will also be closed:
Bryan Animal Center
Public Works Office
Public Works Call Center
The Recycling Center
Water Service Office
Parks and Recreation Office
Bryan + College Station Library System (Clara B. Mounce Public Library, Larry J. Ringer Public Library, Carnegie Center of Brazos Valley History).
Bryan Municipal Court closed on Monday, September 1. Any documents or payments due to the Court that day will only be accepted on Tuesday, September 2, 2014.

Closed on Monday, September 1, 2014.
To make a bill payment visit one of the kiosks at any of the following locations:
- HEB at Texas Avenue and Hwy 21
- HEB at 725 E. Villa Maria
- Texan Market at Harvey Mitchell Pkwy & Villa Maria (open 24 hours).
- You can pay via phone through the automated “E-payment” option by calling 979-821-5700
- Pay online at www.btutilities.com
Solid Waste garbage, bulk and brush services will run on schedule.
For emergency traffic, water and sewer needs call 979-822-3777.
