Signs of change continue in Northgate.
A new barrier wall is up for the promenade area along University Drive in Northgate to keep cars from crashing into the sidewalk in the new pedestrian area.
We're told the project is still running on time despite the rain this week.
The entire University Drive and Northgate project is expected to be completed by the end of August.
On Thursday traffic is expected to be reduced to one lane westbound and eastbound on University Drive between Agronomy Road and Stasney Street.
The weather delayed that plan Wednesday morning.
TxDOT crews are constructing new raised medians between Wellborn Road and Lodge Street.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area or find alternate routes.
The closures are expected to last until the project is completed in August.
