GRIMES COUNTY Fire crews are monitoring a wildfire in Grimes County after it reignited on Tuesday.
The Dyer Mill 2 fire is burning between Navasota and Plantersville.
It's already scorched more than 50 acres of land off County Road 306 and 234, near Highway 105.
Crews were called back out to the scene when that fire reignited Tuesday evening.
Crews worked overnight Tuesday to help prevent the fire from spreading and they plan to monitor the situation until at least noon Wednesday.
Officials say that high winds and low humidity are part of what caused the fire to rekindle.
They can't tell us how much of the fire is contained.
On Monday, a witness reported a dead tree fell on power lines, originally sparking the fire.
