BRYAN - The fifth annual Downtown Street and Art Festival was today.
About thirty local artists came out to sell their wares to a crowd of hundreds.
There was everything from handmade wooden spoons to live music to activities for the kids.
The event is important to the artists that depend on the publicity to make a living.
"We don't have just tons and tons of opportunities to share our art, so events like this are important for the local artists who want to feel connected to the local community," said local artist Sarah Page.
Event organizers try to host the event on Parents' Weekend each year to bring more traffic to Downtown Bryan.
