It’s going to be a fun, family-friendly event Saturday morning that’s raising awareness for a growing problem nation-wide: Child Abuse.
Saturday, April 20th, from 10 a.m. to noon, CASA of the Brazos Valley will be teaming up with Scotty’s House in Bryan to host their first ever Dog Tired of Child Abuse fundraiser.
The fundraiser will be held at Pavilion B at Sue Haswell Park in Bryan. Organizers of the event say it will allow residents of the community to be a voice for children who need one. The event will include a hot dog eating contest with prizes and lots of fun activities for the family.
Proceeds from the hot dog eating contest will benefit Voices for Children, Scotty’s House and the abused and neglected children they serve every day.
