Local Polo Player Selected to Team USPA Development Program

Stephanie Massey has been selected to the U.S. Polo Association’s premier development program, Team USPA. The organization was established in 2010 aiming to grow and sustain the sport of polo by identifying talented young American players and providing opportunities to grow their abilities.

Currently a senior studying biomedical science at Texas A&M University, Massey actively competes for the Aggies’ women's polo team. She is the women's team captain, but has also served two years as the club's president. Massey won the USPA National Interscholastic Women's Championship with Texas A&M in 2008 and was also a finalist in the National Championship with the team in 2010. Massey was a National Intercollegiate All-Star in 2009, 2010 and 2011. Expanding her polo prowess beyond the U.S., Massey also competed in the 7th Annual International Arena Tournament in Guatemala this year as well.
