A lumber truck rollover on Highway 6 near University Drive in Bryan on Tuesday trapped a driver for about 45 minutes.
Bryan and College Station Fire Department first responders finally pulled the man to safety.
Police say the vehicle slowed down to stop and swerved off the roadway to avoid contact with other vehicles. The truck then collided with a tree on the other side of the highway.
The driver of the truck was taken to St. Joseph Regional Health Center in stable condition.
Traffic backed up in both directions on Highway 6.
