Madisonville Man Allegedly Assaults Known Victim Then Steals Vehicle

COLLEGE STATION A Madisonville man remains in jail tonight after allegedly assaulting a person he knew in College Station and stealing the victim's vehicle.

Police say it happened around six Saturday morning near Nantucket Drive and Highway 6.

OBryan David Roark, Jr., 29, allegedly assaulted the victim, stole the vehicle then drove to the 1100 block of William D. Fitch Parkway where he was involved in a one vehicle accident. He was taken to the College Station Medical Center for minor injuries. No one else was injured.

Roark is charged with Robbery and DWI.
