FORT HOOD - A Bryan man, accused of having sex with a 14-year-old girl at Ford Hood, will remain behind bars in McLennan County until at least next month.

Thursday, U.S. Magistrate Jeffrey C. Manske set a detention hearing for Oscar Alonzo Acosta and ordered him to remain in custody until the March 3 appearance.

According to a federal complaint filed by the FBI, Fort Hood military police spotted a vehicle about 10:00 p.m. on February 14 in the Belton Lake Outdoor Recreation Area. As they approached the vehicle, the MPs saw a
man and a female inside having sex.

The man, who was later identified as Acosta, is 26. The female is only 14.
