COLLEGE STATION - A two vehicle accident caused quite the traffic mess this afternoon on Highway 30 in College Station.
The Department of Public Safety says a truck pulling a trailer with a blown tire was blocking the east bound lane of Highway 30, near William D. Fitch Parkway, causing traffic to slow.
That's when a College Station garbage truck reportedly going too fast rear-ended a pick up truck.
The driver of the garbage truck, Maurice Muckelroy, was taken to the College Station Medical Center for a possible broken wrist.
