Major Nidal M. Hasan was discharged from Carl R. Darnall Medical Center Wednesday and has returned to the Bell Country Jail in Belton after being hospitalized undisclosed reasons.
He had been admitted over the weekend.
His trial is on hold over his beard that violates Army rules. He is appealing a judge's order that he be forcibly shaved before the trial.
Hasan faces the death penalty if convicted in the 2009 attack that killed 13 people and wounded more than two dozen.
