Update: Motorcyclist Injured in Weekend Crash

*Sunday Update*

News 3 has learned the victim, 24 year old Christopher Metzbower of Bryan lost control of his motorcycle in the 1600 block of Harvey Road under the Highway 6 overpass yesterday. Metzbower was taken to College Station Medical Center. He remains there as of Sunday, in stable condition and reportedly has a broken leg. Metzbower is a transit bus driver for Texas A&M. No other vehicles were involved.

*4 P.M. Update*

A motorcyclist is in the hospital after crashing in College Station.

The accident happened Saturday afternoon in the 1600 block of Harvey Road under the Highway 6 bridges.

College Station Police are still investigating why the man lost control of his motorcycle and crashed.

He was taken to the College Station Medical Center with unknown injuries.

We are told he is expected to survive.

No other vehicles were involved.

CSPD is currently on scene at a major accident on Harvey Road under the Highway 6 overpass. Police are still investigating the accident. According to our crew at the scene, the accident involves a motorcycle. The driver of the motorcycle has been transported to the College Station Medical Center with unknown injures.

Traffic is backed up around the Harvey Road and Highway 6 area as emergency crews investigate. We will update this story when more information becomes available.
